Friday was very fun. We went to Mr. [Deland] Richter's house for a delicious breakfast. While we were there, we got to see Amanda's 4 baby goats who were less than a week old. They were absolutely adorable! Later in the day, we went out to Mr. [David] Richter's home where we had a tour of the place where he makes his maple syrup. I am amazed at how much work goes into making that syrup. Did you know that it can take anywhere from 30-40 gallons of sap to make a single gallon of syrup? Now you know why maple syrup costs more than the standard type. If you use maple syrup, be thankful for the people who put so much work into that one bottle that you are currently using!
Mr. [Deland] Richter and his family came over for dinner after the tour. We had some wonderful fellowship and altogether, the day was very blessed.
