Father/Daughter Dinner

Papa and I recently attended a Father/Daughter Dinner.  It was a very meaningful time where we shared our thoughts, hopes, and our appreciation and love for each other.  The fathers and daughters also wrote letters to one another.  Papa and I talked about the contents of our letters during the meal.  Since I asked a lot of questions, it provided a good source of conversation.  I received much valuable advice from papa for my life and my future.  I am so blessed to have a father who cares for me and loves me.  God has done a great work in his life and I am proud to call him my "Papa".
My place setting.
Pastor Louis and his eldest daughter, Olivia.
This is a picture that I took of the rose that we brought home from the dinner.
Thank you Schneider family for hosting!
You've helped to create unforgettable memories.
Papa and I.
I took this picture just messing around with the
settings on my camera, and a flashlight.
I thought that the heart shape made by the handle was very pretty.

New Life

Romans 6:4

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death,
that just as Christ was raised from the dead
by the glory of the Father,
even so we also should walk in newness of life.

One of Papa's former employees, and a close friend, has struggled with a drug addiction for twelve years and is now drug free. He graduated from Teen Challenge on February 23, 2011, and received a scholarship to attend Crown College with plans to go into the ministry.  Teen Challenge is a Christ-centered program that strives to break addictions and gives all glory to God for their successes.

We praise God for His marvelous work!

Jeremiah and his life {in pictures} #2

This is the second part of two posts that I have done concerning Jeremiah, my wonderful brother.  If you have not seen the first post, I encourage you to scroll down and look at it before proceeding to do the same with this one.  Thank you.

This post has to do with the second 1/2 of Jeremiah's life.  Since I got a camera in 2007, I've gone crazy with photography and take WAY TOO MANY pictures.  Consequently, this post is much longer than the previous one.  I hope that you have a few minutes to spare and enjoy this post.  I give all glory to God for bestowing such a treasure upon me as my brother, Jeremiah.

Something "fishy".
I can't believe I actually got this shot!
Actually, he was just pretending, but it looks
pretty believable at first glance, doesn't it!?!
Just for laughs!
The boys figured out that they could use a
water bottle to disfigure their faces - as shown!
Now isn't that SWEET!?!
Jeremiah, getting pulled into the pond by a huge fish...
...and here it is!
(not really!) :)
Jeremiah is our "Kingfisher".
Jeremiah's SHARK cake!
Jeremiah is SO silly!
Flowers for the ladies.
Curly fries from...
...Jack in the Box.
Our favorite summer pastime - playing in the pool!
Oh, I can almost FEEL summer when I look at that picture!
Jeremiah's TEXAS cake.
The two hunters!
Although you can't see it,
he was jumping into a pile of leaves. (In Iowa)
That's one thing that is EXTREMELY dangerous
to do in Texas because of the snakes.

AT THE BEACH:

Feeding the seagulls.

I thought that this was a really unique picture -
I just wish that the nasty stuff wasn't hanging off of the ceiling.
The "catcher" trying to tag out the "runner".
(without any glove or any ball!)
Jeremiah has become VERY flexible in the past few months!
Shovel partners.
Is it the master walking the dog or the other way around?!?
CHRISTmas Pajamas.
I think that the dogs decided to take the boys to the pet store!
FIRST SNOW!
