Before our recent trip to Iowa, we got together with some of our long-time friends, the Alzen family (Check out their blog on the sidebar!) at the best ice cream place in the world ... well, that might (just might) be an exaggeration ... but after you see some of my pictures, you may agree with me!
They are going through the process of adopting from Ukraine. Nikolai came for a brief visit and we had the privilege of meeting him. He is SO sweet!
